Cicor CleanUp Day
20 September, was World CleanUp Day and some of our Cicor Group sites took part in the event by collecting litter in the local area. Here's a look at the activities at our sites:
Arad, Romania
Our team in Arad contributed by cleaning up a tourist trail in the countryside.
Cicor Management AG, Switzerland
The Cicor management team in Switzerland collected waste in the forest and rounded off the event with a BBQ.
Newport, United Kingdom
More than 70 employees took to the streets around the Newport site and in the local community to pick up litter and improve walkways. The team collected 1.5 tons of litter!
Bedford, United Kingdom
The Bedford team collected significant amounts of litter in their local area.
Hartlepool, United Kingdom
Cicor Hartlepool employees visited the local beach to collect litter. Although the sun was not shining, the weather was very pleasant (no rain!) and everyone enjoyed taking part and doing something for the local community and the environment!
Batam, Indonesia
Around 50 employees from the Batam site took part in this event. The clean-up included the factory premises and the 2 to 3 km surrounding area within the Batamindo Industrial Park.
Dongguan, China
The Cicor site in Dongguan brought together 20 volunteers to take part in the campaign. Together, they successfully collected around 10kg of plastic waste.

Cicor CleanUp Day
Am 20. September fand der World CleanUp Day statt und einige unserer Standorte der Cicor Group nahmen an der Veranstaltung teil, indem sie in der Umgebung Müll sammelten. Hier ein Blick auf die Aktivitäten an unseren Standorten:
Arad, Rumänien
Unser Team in Arad half bei der Säuberung eines Wanderwegs auf dem Land.
Cicor Management AG, Schweiz
Das Cicor-Managementteam in der Schweiz sammelte Abfall im Wald und rundete die Veranstaltung mit einem Grillfest ab.
Newport, Vereinigtes Königreich
Mehr als 70 Mitarbeitende gingen in der Umgebung des Standorts Newport und in der örtlichen Gemeinde auf die Strasse, um Müll zu sammeln und Gehwege zu verbessern. Das Team sammelte 1,5 Tonnen Müll!
Bedford, Vereinigtes Königreich
Das Team aus Bedford sammelte in seiner Umgebung grosse Mengen an Müll.
Hartlepool, Vereinigtes Königreich
Die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter von Cicor Hartlepool besuchten den örtlichen Strand, um Müll zu sammeln. Obwohl die Sonne nicht schien, war das Wetter sehr angenehm (kein Regen!) und alle hatten Spass daran, etwas für die örtliche Gemeinschaft und die Umwelt zu tun!
Batam, Indonesien
Rund 50 Mitarbeitende des Standorts Batam nahmen an dieser Veranstaltung teil. Die Säuberungsaktion umfasste das Fabrikgelände und die 2 bis 3 km weite Umgebung innerhalb des Batamindo Industrial Park.
Dongguan, China
Am Cicor-Standort in Dongguan nahmen 20 Freiwillige an der Kampagne teil. Gemeinsam sammelten sie erfolgreich rund 10 kg Plastikmüll.
