Visit by Cicor Nordic Engineering to Cicor Mircotech

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming a three-person team of colleagues from Cicor Nordic Engineering in Sweden. The purpose of the visit was to attend a CAD training session aimed at further strengthening our future collaboration in this area.

Face-to-face meetings and direct dialogue are particularly valuable. They provide an opportunity to learn from one another and develop new ideas together. The visit demonstrated just how positive cross-site collaboration is within the Cicor Group.

A sporting spring at the Wangs site

Spring at our Wangs site was all about getting active. As temperatures rose, many staff members were drawn outdoors to enjoy the fresh air. Whether through ‘Bike to Work’, the ‘Wings for Life Run’ or our lunchtime running group, numerous colleagues gave it their all and thoroughly enjoyed taking part in these group activities. Regular exercise boosts not only physical but also mental health. Leaving the car at home now and then also makes a valuable contribution to the environment. That’s why we encourage such initiatives and support our staff with refreshments and the chance to sign up for gym membership at a local club.

This allows them to attend group classes or work out at the gym whenever suits them. Getting enough exercise is essential for staying healthy and fit in the long term. That is exactly what we want for our employees.

Successful integration of former employees from Ulm

Almost a year has passed since we closed our production site in Ulm. During this time, six employees have decided to relocate from Germany to Switzerland so that they can continue to be part of Cicor Microtech.

They have all settled in well by now and feel very much at home in Wangs. We greatly appreciate this loyalty to the company.
