It has been a few years since Cicor Angers launched a new product initiative. And thanks to those who have placed their trust in our hard work, the opportunities available and our reputation for high-quality products, we have recently launched some new product projects.
Just before the summer, Aptar entrusted us with the manufacture of one of its products, which had previously been produced by other manufacturers. This product is designed to help people with allergies stick to their treatment and ensure they do not forget to take the correct dose of their medication. By the end of the year, we expect to deliver around 15,000 products to them. And there is a strong chance that this collaboration will grow, perhaps as they look to expand their product range into Spain.
We have also launched new product projects for a new client in Angers, SAFT, including a project relating to submarines for which we are due to deliver prototypes shortly. And thanks to the trust they have placed in us, we are also working on another of their projects, this time in the space sector.
We also have other product projects in the pipeline which are very interesting, and which you’ll no doubt be hearing about soon.
A few days ago, we reached the two-year mark without any accidents at our Angers site. Thanks to a strong focus on prevention, training in health and safety at work, and above all thanks to everyone’s efforts to comply with safety rules and the vigilance of all our staff, we are proud to have reached this two-year accident-free milestone. We will, of course, continue on this positive trajectory and hope to be able to celebrate three years next year.
