Christmas Raffle & Lunch

We kicked off the festive season at Cicor Newport with organising a Christmas raffle for all employees, with very exciting prizes. All proceedings were donated to Noahʼs Ark Children Hospital. Thanks to the generosity of Cicor Newport employees we managed to raise and donate £2,581. On 11th December Cicor Newport celebrated the holiday season with annual Christmas lunch— bringing us together and reminding us of the joy of giving back. As part of this cherished tradition, which has been done for 40 years, the Leadership Team proudly served the meal to our incredible employees! The afternoon was filled with good food, exciting games and lots of laughter. It was heartwarming to see everyone connecting, sharing smiles, and enjoying the festive spirit together.

Start of training for the Cardiff Half Marathon

A team of eight runners from four sites, along with 14 dedicated Newport employees, have signed up to participate in the annual Cardiff Half Marathon. This incredible group is not just running for personal achievement but to make a difference in their community. Their goal is to raise £10,000 for two vital causes: Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital and Ty Hafan, both of which provide crucial support to children and their families during challenging times. The runners are training hard and are united in their mission to give back through this event. With their sights set on the ambitious fundraising target, they’re calling on friends, family and the wider community to support their efforts.
